Our Abandoned Soldiers

The UK establishment should hang their heads in shame that they have allowed our soldiers who have served with honour and are now homeless (9000) and traumatised (PTSD) - treated with disrespect and disdain.

So much for the AFC: "The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise from the nation that those who serve or have served, and their families, are treated fairly"

"The treatment of discharged military is to demoralise the armed forces. Ex-military should have first priority in suitable social housing. (not as the limbless ex-soldier given a flat on the 7th floor). That is what the Military Covenant is about that our Gov is sidelining. Councils should be required to be pro-active in locating such ex-soldiers with punitive penalties for the bureaucrats if they do not." - Mick Greenhough, theeuroprobe.org: 2012 – 022 Degrading the morale and capabilities of UK Armed Forces

Meanwhile:

"Ministry of Defence to hand over files for Ulster troops ‘witch-hunt’

  • "The Ministry of Defence will be forced to hand over service records of British troops to help a police probe into the "Troubles." Officials will have no choice but to comply with the planned investigation into hundreds of veterans, many in their 70s, who served in Northern Ireland."

  • "Personal details of the troops, their service records and any other documents relating to operations are likely to be requested, Whitehall sources said. This is set to make it much easier to prosecute British troops than IRA terrorists caught up in the legacy investigation."

  • "MPs reacted with anger to the revelation last night, which followed the news that a proposed amnesty for UK soldiers had been dropped."

  • "On Tuesday it emerged that ministers had dropped proposals for an amnesty and a statute of limitations for British troops who served in Northern Ireland during the "Troubles"".

  • "It had been written into a draft consultation document last year, but was then taken out following opposition from Sinn Fein". bestwnews.com 11th May 2018

Our comment: The British establishment have a lot to answer for but, it stems from their cowardly behaviour with the much lauded Good Friday Agreement - a grossly one-sided capitulation by the Labour government to a terrorist organisation (is Blair that much different from Corbyn in their mutual hatred of the English?)

One might legitimately ask - who is really running this country?

How did Britain ever come to this?

President Romano Prodi stated that "there will be an EU army and only an EU army" - a clear statement that no other independent army would exist within the EU. EuroCorps intends to absorb the British Armed Forces and through collusion with Whitehall our armed forces will be degraded, sapped of resources and capability before what is left is insufficient to defend Britain or her interests - at which point what remains will be given over to control by EuroCorps to operate under EU control for the interests of the EU (paraphrased from the above article)

By virtue of the Maastricht Treaty (1992) the British people lost their Common Law Rights and Protections (at least they have been sidelined) - because the Queen and her ministers agreed to the terms and conditions of the Treaty of Rome (1957) and allowed a Foreign Power to make our law subordinate to European law. The Lisbon Treaty (2007) went further when they agreed that we would all be made citizens of the EU - a new country in its own right with its own Constitution with supremacy over the British Constitution - whose citizens were conferred rights and subject to obligations, demands and allegiance to the EU over and above their allegiance to Britain and their fellow countrymen.

  • "People are confused as to how our soldiers can be charged as criminals for carrying out their duties in combat. This can now happen because they are no longer our soldiers.  The Bill of Rights established the monarch as commander in chief of our armed forces making our soldiers accountable by oath of allegiance only to the monarch and through the monarch to the British people. This was a wise move as should a Parliament become despotic the monarch as sworn official Governor of the nation would have the power to dissolve such a Parliament; only a monarch can mount and dissolve a Parliament. The soldiers oath of allegiance limits him to do no more than protect the monarch from his or her enemies. In return our the armed forces have the protection of the Crown.  Apart from funding, Parliament has no lawful authority over our armed forces what so ever."

  • "With the surrender of the nation’s sovereignty in 1972 the monarch abdicated, there can be no sovereign head of state in a nation that is no longer sovereign. Parliament then assumed the role of commander in chief of our armed forces creating them political mercenaries no longer under the protection of their oath of allegiance." (Bob Lomas - theeuroprobe.org 28th January 2016: 2016 – 003 How and why our soldiers can now be prosecuted.

Unfortunately, the EU and its collaborators have carefully ensured that the EU is only seen in a good light - protected by those in the British establishment who have so grievously betrayed the British people and who continue their treachery today - for their own interests.

The EU is like the Moon - its "Dark Side" is always hidden - courtesy of an instructions to Ministers in FCO:30/1048 (1971) in the case of the latter.

  • "After entry (to EEC, 1972) there would be a major responsibility on HMG and on all political parties not to exacerbate public concern by attributing unpopular measures or unfavourable economic developments to the remote and unmanageable workings of the Community."

  • "24 (ii) The transfer of major executive responsibilities to the bureaucratic Commission in Brussels will exacerbate popular feeling of alienation from government."

And so our (Remain) politicians do as they are required to do by their masters in Brussels (Berlin) - they continually dupe the British public - for example, the denial by Clegg and others that the EU is developing its own Army and all the Remain propaganda "Project Fear" being dished out without pause.
