11th May, 2016

The Formal Beginning - updated September 2018

The foundations for an EU Superstate were laid formally by the Treaty of Rome (1957) - officially: "The Treaty establishing the European Economic Community (TEEC)". This treaty contained all the basic elements of the EU that we have seen develop; including the "Four Freedom" of Capital, Goods, Services and Workers and the ECJ (Article 177) The three "Pillars" Defence, Justice and Finance that were only formally introduced in the Maastricht Treaty (1992) - the "Treaty establishing the European Community (EC)".

Those wishing to implement that system in Europe realised that it would not be possible to get the nations of Europe together, and control them from a single central government, without force - since attempts at political integration were not accepted. To begin the process, all the new Member States were required to sign-up to the Treaty of Rome (1957) which resulted in acceptance of all EEC(EU) laws (Directives and Regulations etc.)

To get around that problem Jean Monnet, one of the founders of the EU put forward the idea (in the 1950's) that if they could get countries to trade; then accept regulations and rules for trade that they agreed to abide by, they would gradually give up their independence (sovereignty) and could therefore be taken over without force.
So the plan has always been to take over the countries of Europe and the chosen method was through economic subjugation (the bankers' prerogetive) - secured loans and establishing a Customs Union with free trade between them; but with the same result - the privatisation of their public services and infrastructure, and through undermining of the national identities of Member State populations gain total control of Europe and its near neighbours - such a project could not be completed without the collusion of the Member States' establishments - behind the backs of their own populations.

Quote:" "Via money Europe could become political in five years" and "… the current communities should be completed by a Finance Common Market which would lead us to European economic unity. Only then would … the mutual commitments make it fairly easy to produce the political union which is the goal "Jean Monnet, 30 April 1952

Élysée Treaty (1963)
West Germany and France agreed to run the EEC for their own benefit and established the proto-EU Army with 5 000 military personnel.

Britain Joined the EEC

The European Economic Community (EEC) was the first part that Britain became involved in (1973) and prior to joining, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO:30/1048), in 1971, warned the Heath government (which, with the help of Labour politicians) illegally gave the EEC "Henry VIII" powers to allow it to impose its laws upon the citizens of the United Kingdom - Civil Servants at the time warned the Ministers of some of the consequences of being in the EEC and, for example, stated that:- "After entry (to EEC, 1972) there would be a major responsibility on HMG and on all political parties not to exacerbate public concern by attributing unpopular measures or unfavourable economic developments to the remote and unmanageable workings of the Community."

The FCO:30/1048 document was kept secret under the "30 year" rule, and our politicians have continued the deception about the true nature of the EEC (EU) ever since, and it continues today - our politicians and establishment are required to protect the EU from scrutiny and criticism by the people of the UK.

Quote "... We must be clear about this: it does mean, if this is the idea, the end of Britain as an independent European state. I make no apology for repeating it. It means the end of a thousand years of history. You may say 'Let it end' but, my goodness, it is a decision that needs a little care and thought. And it does mean the end of the Commonwealth. How can one really seriously suppose that if the mother country, the centre of the Commonwealth, is a province of Europe (which is what federation means) it could continue to exist as the mother country of a series of independent nations? It is sheer nonsense... Hugh Gaitskill Leader of Labour Party - extract from speech addressing Labour Party conference 3 October 1962 opposing accession to EEC.

European Communities Act (ECA) (1972)   By ratifying the European Communities Act (ECA) (1973) on the 1st of January, 1973 Britain, signed up to the Terms and Conditions set out in the Treaty of Rome (1957) which incidentally had been devised by the Bilderberg Group, which was itself set up by members of the Fabian Society in 1954. In signing up to the ECA (1973) the British Parliament "highjacked" the sovereignty of the British people (Section 2(1) and 2(2)) and allowed British Law to be subservient to the Laws of the EEC - with Parliament retaining the power to repeal the ECA (1973).  However, such repeal can only be achieved through a majority vote in the House of Commons and in the House of Lords. The bottom line is that British sovereignty - the right to make laws which the people would respect was taken away from the people by their own elected Representatives and given to the EEC(EU) - and that right has been held hostage by our Politicians and Peers on behalf of the EU for the past 44 years.

By this arrangement the British Parliament (and the Establishment more widely) have been able to claim that Britain is still sovereign even though it allows the EEC (now EU) to control the British legal system, subvert British Law and interfere in the working of the British Parliament through the "British" Courts - for example, the final appeal to the High Court Referendum case is not the "British Supreme Court" but the European Court of Justice (ECJ). The net effect is that Britain is under "Occupation" and controlled by a puppet Parliament for as long as the European Communities Act (1972) remains in force. This act of betrayal by the British Parliament has  largely kept under wraps since 1973 - maintained by a majority of, pre-selected EU supporting, politicians and unelected Peers, notably those with Marxist leanings.

Thatcher signed the Single European Act (SEA)(1985)

This allowed for the necessary legislative programme which eliminated trade barriers, through arrangements such as qualified majority voting (QMV) in the Council of Ministers. She later regretted doing so, and in the 1988 Bruges Speech, spoke against EU political and economic integration and in favour of cooperation as Sovereign States - the reason she was removed from power.

Maastricht Treaty (1992)

In the Maastricht Treaty (1992) the EEC was renamed as the European Community (EC) and was subsumed by the political EU which was formed along with the Euro, Eurozone and EU Fiscal policies; defining Debt / GDP and Deficit / GDP percentages applied to EU member states - these rules form the basis of Europe wide austerity which has devastated youth employment rates in Greece, Italy and  Spain, and apply equally to the UK - despite what you might hear on LBC. The 1992 treaty also reduced the status of our Queen Elizabeth II to that of an ordinary EU citizen with all the same rights and responsibilities to the political EU as every other citizen. Up until this point though the relationships in Europe had been mostly about trade, but they were widened by the Maastricht Treaty (1992), and much new development, not related to trade, took place - out of sight.

Quote: "The euro was not just a bankers' decision or a technical decision. It was a decision which completely changed the nature of the nation states. The pillars of the nation state are the sword and the currency, and we changed that." EU Commission President Romano Prodi, April 1999

Constitution for Europe (2004)
In 2004 the political EU tried to impose a Constitution for Europe, but it was rejected in 2005 - and subsequently the majority of that Constitution document (estimated to be 95%) was reorganised and distributed within the texts of the Lisbon Treaty (2007) and earlier treaties; as was attested to by Merkel. By totally ignoring the rejection by the French and Dutch in 2005 the EU, led by Merkel conspired to bring the Constitution for Europe (2004) into the EU Treaties by deception; thereby continuing the tradition of the development of the EU by stealth.

Lisbon Treaty (2007)

The key change that has taken place since the beginning of "The political EU Project" was with the Lisbon Treaty (2007) - with that Treaty the EU separated itself from the member states and became a new legal organisation - with a Legal Personality recognised in international law; with a Constitution that is superior to the Constitutions of its Member States; with laws that have primacy over all the laws of its Member States (Declaration 17).

The Lisbon Treaty (2007) gave the political EU the powers of a Dictatorship, and the Laws of a Police State (Corpus Juris) and the politicians of all 28 member states signed up to it!  The EU is not about trade, it is about using trade as a distraction whilst a sinister control mechanisms for a single government are created. Leaving the political EU is not the same as leaving the EEC (EC), but the political EU want us all to think that it is the same; because that way we will still believe that our trade is with the EEC, and we are only in a simple trading relationship with the political EU; which it isn't

Our trading relationship is with the EU under WTO rules, but with additional imposed tariffs and restrictions, which covers the basic rules and regulations of trade, but the EEC (EC) were subsumed within the political EU. The difference is the single government which we will all have to serve unless we leave.

Quote: "Public opinion will be led to adopt, without knowing it, the proposals that we dare not present to them directly" ... "All the earlier proposals will be in the new text, but will be hidden and disguised in some way." V.Giscard D'Estaing, Chairman of the Convention which drew up the EU Constitution - Le Monde, 14 June 2007, and Sunday Telegraph, 1 July 2007

Building the EU Totalitarian Police State

The EU is a political organisation, separate from its members and its Laws and Constitution are superior to any member state Constitution or Laws - with a legal personality in International Law. This came about through the amendments of two Treaties - the Treaty of the European Union (TEU), and the Treaty of the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) - recognised by the ECJ. The previously rejected Constitution for Europe (2004) was thus incorporated as the Supranational Constitution of the EU - but did not include the word "Constitution"; so as not to alert the populations of the EU member states to the fact that they were being duped into accepting a new "Constitution" by stealth (see before and after Lisbon)

It is clear that there cannot be any sharing of sovereignty in this new EU, except temporarily, because it has the final say in any decisions or it will have in its final manifestation - and this supremacy is enforceable by the European Court (ECJ) - and that affects us if we are foolish enough to vote to remain.

The fact that the EU is not yet in its finalised form is evident from the following description of itself - from its "About us" section of the EU's "Delegation to the USA" website:-"The EU is unlike anything else—it isn’t a government, an association of states, or an international organization. Rather, the 28 Member States have relinquished part of their sovereignty to EU institutions, with many decisions made at the European level."

So the EU does not even present itself to the world as a completed "State" - yet - because it cannot become a Superstate unless it has all the attributes of a state - the very attributes that it is trying to put together behind the backs of the populations of Europe.

The attributes of a state (acquired at a political level with a new Constitution and Legal Supremacy) from the Lisbon Treaty (2007)) must also include the EU Armed Forces(in progress), Common Currency(tick), Common Judicial system (Corpus Juris - in progress), Common Paramilitary Police Force and Intelligence Service(tick),Common Border Force(in progress) and Common Taxation and Pensions(in progress) - it already has the AnthemMotto, and Oath of Allegiance - but these have been largely kept low key - apart from the EU Passport and EU Flag.

The reason that it did not acquire these attributes earlier is because the Constitution for Europe (2004) was rejected, by the French and Dutch in 2005; so the EU couldn't openly move to bring them into existence without alerting them to their ambitions regarding the EU Superstate - and the main area of authority that they must have in order to reach their goal is to have complete control of the internal borders of the member states - which is where the manufactured migration crisis came into play -  with a little help from Peter Sutherland at the UN  (now deceased - January, 2018) - to create the necessary circumstances to allow a grab for control of the EU member states' borders.

Continuing the EU Fantasy

The political EU though really only wants us all to focus on the economy and trade (which they can easily manipulate) because that will distract us from the true political purpose of the EU, and using the idea of trade has worked so well up to now -  as it as always designed to do - and they do not want us to shine a light upon their real intentions

Quote: I have always said that economic governance for all 27 Member States is what we are after. German Chancellor Angela Merkel (Daily Telegraph 27.3.10)

Trading with Europe does not require the political EU, which did not exist for the first 36 years of the existence of the  EEC (1957 to 1993); it is a recent artificial construct (1993), which only acquired legal status through the Lisbon Treaty (2007), and whose primary purpose is to take over its Member States and build the EU Superstate (Empire); so lusted after, throughout recent history in particular.

Quote: "We want more Europe and stronger powers to intervene. Treaty changes for that should not be taboo" Chancellor Angela Merkel - Irish Times Monday 24 October 2011

We are now in the final stages of being taken over which has mostly been through stealth and infiltration of EU supporters within the member states. There is little doubt that the EU is an organisation which has set in process the instruments necessary for the formation of a Totalitarian Police State (Lisbon Treaty (2007)) which will force all of the populations in Europe into perpetual servitude at the hands of the multinational corporations and the EU. For any of the member states which do not want to lose their identity Article 50 in the Lisbon Treaty (2007) is a way out which is not likely to be available after the UK Referendum.

Quote: "Borders are the worst invention ever made by politicians..." Jean-Claude Juncker, European Commission President, 22 August 2016

We must leave the political monstrosity called the EU in order to take back our ability for self-determination and what has been taken over (including our fisheries, our agriculture and our borders) by the so called "elites" - EU vassals have sold the freedom of their countrymen and women for "30 pieces of silver", the traditional reward for treachery; as part of their Faustian Pact with the EU.

Note: In 2010 the Spinelli Group* of MEP's produced a Manifesto in which a new formal Constitution would be developed "The Fundamental Law" to replace the Lisbon Treaty (2007) - designed to lock the member states into the political EU plan and bring in a new more restrictive Constitution.

The Lisbon Treaty (2007) has acted as an EU Constitution since 2009 but does not contain the word "Constitution" and was not laid out as such in order to avoid its detection as the earlier rejected Constitution for Europe (2004).
*"The Spinelli Group is an initiative launched in September 2010, led by Guy Verhofstadt, Daniel Cohn-Bendit, Sylvie Goulard and Isabelle Durant, followed by Andrew Duff and Jo Leinen. The Spinelli Group call upon fellow MEPs and European personalities to develop a network of those who choose the European interest above their national interest, those who want to push the federal project in their respective environment. Just like Altiero Spinelli did"  (see (Altiero Spinelli was an Italian Communist Politician, Political Theorist and European Federalist)
